Chair of the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship
Le Moyne College, a Jesuit coeducational institution of 2800 undergraduate and 800 graduate students in Syracuse, New York, solicits applications for a full-time, faculty-line, 12-month position leading the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship. This senior faculty position reports to the Dean of the Madden Business School, where the Center is housed.
The Mission of the Keenan Center is to integrate an entrepreneurial mindset into the culture and curriculum of Le Moyne students, foster innovative leaders who will successfully maneuver through a “gig economy”, and enable students to achieve their professional dreams. The Center will help to raise the profile of both Le Moyne College and the Madden School in the regional and global marketplace and become a leader in the development of the upstate New York entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Ph.D. in business or a technology-related field preferred; Master’s Degree required. Program management and supervisory experience in an educational setting desired. Entrepreneurial and startup experience required. The candidate must be able to work with business and educational leaders while determining educational program needs throughout the service region. The Center Chair must have experience as creative and innovative leader in the field.
